Bangkok x Sofitel So Bangkok

Of luxuries, elegance and excellence - Sofitel So Bangkok
'We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act but a habit.'

Was privileged to be treated to a wonderful 3 days and 2 nights at the exquisite boutique Sofitel So Bangkok hotel. And of course, went on a much needed shopping spree and holiday with the little pretty imp!

this was just the start of our 'So' awesome stay at the quaint yet modern hotel!
Treated with a pretty lavender welcome drink in the swanky reception lounge once we arrived!

And then we got our room in no time! Chose the Water theme which proved to be an excellent choice!
beautiful blend of blues, and checked tiles. modern yet vintage, quaint yet luxurious!
Did you know, the whole hotel, themes and even the uniforms of the staff at the hotel was designed by Monsieur Christian Lacroix? His artistic expertise is definitely evident in the stylish and exclusive lounges.

super comfy king sized bed, complete with Mac as our TV! Super awesome and we ended up watching lots of youtube videos on the larggge screen!

AbSOlutely dreamy and comfy.

And an awesome selection of snacks and beverages, all on the house!

After enjoying the hotel room for quite a bit, we headed out while it was still daylight! Got lost a bit and walked sooo much before finally reaching our destination at Platinum Mall!
Taking the BKK trains!
Finally reached Platinum, legs almost breaking on top of the hot sunny weather...

And dinner was at a yummy japanese restaurant! Always love Bangkok's japanese food!

Nightfall beckoned and we were back at the hotel to get rest! Self imposed curfew since we were just 2 young girls traveling, ahem!

And the next morning, we were delighted with the beautiful spread for breakfast at the Red Oven Restaurant. The interior was exquisite with tall glass windows allowing sunlight to flow in abundantly, combined with modern wooden fixtures. A perfect ambience for breakfast I would say. And of course, the quality food was delicious with a wide variety of choices, the best breakfast I've had for a while!

And of course after brekkie it was round 2 of shopping and stomping around in the streets of BKK again!

And so, a wonderful trip with an amazing experience with the luxurious Sofitel So Bangkok hotel. Definitely look forward to checking in here again on my next visit to BKK!

'How excellent are you today then?'

Adidas King of the Road 2013

"I run because it's so symbolic of life. You have to drive yourself to overcome the obstacles. You might feel that you can't. But then you find your inner strength, and realize you're capable of so much more than you thought."

KU DE TA SINGAPORE

life is fun when you let it.

ku de ta on a saturday night in singapore!

Great music and drinks,
and fantastic peeps to dance the night with! :D:D:D
Always love girls' night outs.

My favourite kind of clubbing - Minimal drinking with Maximal Dancing!
I think this should be what clubbing should be really!

mini rant:

Drinking too much just gives you unnecessary empty calories and a bad headache the next day. In contrast, minimal drinking with maximal dancing burns you so much calories with so much fun with your friends on the dance floor! Its glamourous dancercise! Lol.

Except for the occasional indulgences, really, who needs alcohol when you can enjoy dancing as it is?!
Lovin' this MD MD!

Ku De Ta (Singapore)
