mirror mirror

if you understood that your reality is merely a reflection of your inner world, how would you think differently today?

saturday afternoon

burgundies and gold

amazed by lace

what you think is what you get

a parallel universe within our inner minds and outer realities.

how would you think and hence live then?

Home is a place you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to.

and in a blink (actually in 30 hours and 4 transits), I was teleported back to sunny sg.
the land of progression, strive and quest of continuous improvement.

with my favourite heart shaped teaspoon yay!

and now I've got these yummy babies back home with me!

cute cake-in-jars :)
dreamy chocolate souffle at robertson quay on a friday's night <3
little cookie on a walk <3

And a cute little cafe nestled in the everton estate :)
cute little love birds on a beautiful day of a lovely wedding <3

Awoken by chirping birds on a Sunday morning at home <3

And really, Home is always where the heart is.

Have a great weekend!

Time flies. And soon one month flew past faster than I could blink.

I'm grateful for the chance to do many of my favourite things here, especially, getting to spend lots of time with my loved one :) I guess, that's really the best part of the whole trip!

picnics, baking and preparing delish pretty bites

shopping for beautiful pieces

Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs

embracing the checkered shirts of american a&f culture

spending leisurely time in the day with matching shoes

trying much raved american food

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

And then I don't feel so bad

thank you for all the favourite things I got to do in the states.
blessed is me.
till the next time we meet!

road trippin again!

This weekend, we went to St Augustine at Florida. And I learnt a lot more of the deep history of the United States. It is no wonder Independence is such an important element to their culture.

Watching the spanish guards of the olden days fire their canons.

Women were already capable, creating strong businesses and building great properties then!

Up the stairs of the famous lighthouse of St Augustine!

Paradise :)

And of course, we had to hit the beach whenever we could again!
Because its the S U N S H I N E state!!! :D

The hardworking captain reading even on the beach!

The cute streets of the old town :)

The beautiful peacock at the Fountain of Youth who kept opening his majestic feathers for us!

And my favourite- the beautiful chandeliers and ceilings painted by Louis Tiffany himself at the then Flagler Hotel!

T'was great, St Augustine! Till the next time!

A day in Alabama

"Remember the days, we set out together in faith, remember the times so fine that we thought that nothing could stand in our way"

Took the chance to make cards for all my amigas :) Blessed to have lots of wonderful gal pals who are always supportive, although some are far far away and scattered all over the world!

ivy league colours :)

prepared a snuggly casserole to warm the heart :)
The Commissary

Where good things come in brown packages :)

And the big tree in our yard(with a bird's nest in it) that I so love!

And cheers to a paisley weekend! Gettin ready for another road trip!

"Always have faith."

To Florida,Destin we go!

Back with more US updates!

Over one weekend, we drove out to the sunny, beachy Destin at Florida!

*road trippin weekend*!

And of course, Justin had to stop by his favourite american krispy kremes for his sugar fix.

he's totally savouring every bite!

I got the apple cinnamon, but it was really too sweet for my liking.

but i looovee their coffee! was good enough to drink it au naturel and black sans sugar/milk.

Pretty chocolate coated apples :)

Then to Destin commons for more shopping whee!

And went to Justin's much raved Olive gardens. Couldn't finish their huge portions!

He really misses his american food!

Then we drove past some Floridian beaches and of course had to pop by to enjoy the glorious weather in the Sunshine state for a while!

Gosh I LOOVEEEEE the clear blue skies!

And my NYC blood orange nails with purples & blues for arm swag! These polishes are a DREAM to glide on! LOVE!

And of course my leopardy shawl as a make do beach mat! heh.

The Sunshine State :)

Dinner was to Joe's crab shack!

Where we won a free $20 voucher! Really lucky! :D

Fresh Seafood.

And the next day we headed to the Beach again! Why of course, we are in the Sunshine State!!! :D
Beautiful beautiful blue waters and white sands.

Super cool advertising in the skies!

And what better to end the road trip with a super yummy dreamy mango icecream cocktail by the beach!

Destin is quite an awesome place if you have 2 days and a night to spare especially in the summer!

Till the next time!
